Meet the authors

Baia Dzagnidze is a Tbilisi-born journalist who became a freelance travel writer and blogger in 2017. Her blog, Red Fedora Diary, focuses mainly on her home country, Georgia, and Tbilisi specifically, providing insights from a local's perspective and detailed guides to European and Southeast Asian countries. Her articles have also been featured in international publications such as Lonely Planet, The Wanderlust, National Geographic UK, and Passion Passport, to name a few. Emily Lush is an Australian writer who moved to Georgia at the start of 2020 after numerous visits. She is the founder of Wander-Lush, a culture-focused travel blog and comprehensive resource for travel in Georgia and the South Caucasus. Her writing and photography have appeared in publications such as National Geographic UK, Forbes Travel Guide, CNN, and Conde Nast Traveller.
